Called "a soul-singing icon in waiting" by The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Maurice was voted "Cleveland's Best Vocalist" in the Cleveland Music Awards. With Winslow, Maurice shared the stage with such major music artists as Earth Wind & Fire, Lupe Fiasco, Incubus, and many more. As a songwriter, Maurice's compositions have been licensed to VH-1, MTV, The Discovery Channel, and E! Maurice's also co-wrote the theme song to ABC Cleveland's show "Dawgs on the Run."
