Maurice F. Martin is proud to call Ohio home, where his journey of transformation first began. A graduate of Kent State University, Maurice now lives in Akron with his wife, Ashleigh, and their two beautiful children.

MUSIC & MENTORSHIP
Before stepping into his role as a transformational speaker and coach, Maurice F. Martin was best known for his soulful voice and commanding stage presence. As the lead singer of the band Winslow, Maurice was voted Cleveland’s Best Vocalist at the Cleveland Music Awards and became a staple in the city’s vibrant music scene.
As a songwriter, Maurice helped Winslow secure national licensing deals with major networks including MTV, VH1, E!, and The Discovery Network. He also wrote and performed the theme song for Dawg’s on the Run on Cleveland’s News Channel 5.
Today, Maurice pours his passion for music into mentoring the next generation. As a teacher in the Power of Harmony program, he helps youth discover how music can be a powerful outlet for self-expression, healing, and connection—reminding them that when you find your voice, you begin to change your life.
